How to connect Granola to Claude
Ask about your meetings: Granola's notes, summaries and transcripts, in Claude or ChatGPT.
The address
https://mcp.granola.ai/mcp- Made by
- Granola
- Sign-in
- OAuth (sign in with Granola)
- Transport
- Streamable HTTP
What it can do
- Search and chat with your meeting notes
- List meetings with title, date and attendees
- Read notes and, on paid plans, raw transcripts and folders
How to add Granola to Claude
Granola is in Claude's connector directory, so you do not need the address. The same steps work on the web and in the desktop app.
- In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors (Settings > Connectors in some versions).
- Browse the connectors and search for Granola.
- Press Connect, sign in and allow access.
- In a chat, press +, then Connectors, to switch it on or off.
On your phone: connectors belong to your Claude account. Add it once on claude.ai or in the desktop app, and it is in the Claude app for iPhone and Android too: in a chat, press +, then Connectors, and switch it on.
Not in your list? Add it as a custom connector with the address above: the steps for a custom connector.
How to add it to ChatGPT
Granola is in ChatGPT's apps: Settings, search for Granola, Connect. Then mention @Granola in a chat.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http granola https://mcp.granola.ai/mcpThen run /mcp in Claude Code to sign in.
Try asking
- "What did we agree with Acme in last week's calls?"
- "List the action items from my meetings today."
Good to know
- Free (Basic) plan: notes from the last 30 days, and no transcripts or folders.
- It reads one Granola workspace at a time: switch workspaces in the app first.
- On Enterprise, admins choose which notes members can reach.
